Mumbai Indians post special video on Malinga's birthday
The 5-time IPL champions also paid a tribute to Lasith Malinga on his 38th birthday by posting a special video to acknowledge the services of the legendary cricketer for the franchise. The right-arm pacer played 122 matches for MI in IPL, taking 170 wickets at a phenomenal economy rate of only 7.14. In the video, many MI players and staff members like Ishan Kishan, Parthiv Patel, Krunal Pandya, Robin Singh, Jayant Yadav etc. can be seen giving their birthday messages for the Sri Lankan pacer.
Hardik Pandya also features in the video as he had another message for Malinga where he says, "Mali, many many happy returns of the day. You are turning 38 but you are still, for all of us, the youngster who came in international cricket I don't know how many years back. But yeah, we love you.
