Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) owner Kavya Maran marks her presence in her team’s matches during the Indian Premier League (IPL). Her unprecedented popularity has made her incredibly famous among cricket supporters and they never miss a chance to know anything linked to her. In a recent development, the 33-year-old businesswoman’s name is getting connected to the renowned music composer Anirudh Ravichander. Anirudh became popular among music buffs after his critically acclaimed song ‘Kolaveri Di’ released in 2012. As per sources, Maran and Ravichander share a healthy bond and they are often spotted with each other.

Anirudh Ravichander is arguably the highest-paid music director of India and the intriguing fact is that he has released numerous songs under the Sun Group banner, which was founded by Kavya’s father Kalanithi Maran in 1992. Ravichander also composes music for the five-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who share the rivalry with SRH. Following Anirudh’s performance at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on March 23, the singer’s fans started linking the 34-year-old with Maran.

Anirudh Ravichander’s team repudiate claims

As per media reports, Anirudh’s team has denied any such connection between both eminent figures and said that the two are good friends. However, Maran would ignore such rumours and look to cheer for her team in the ongoing T20 extravaganza. SRH are currently in the eighth spot on the points tally, with two losses and a win that came against Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on March 23.

The Orange Army are squaring off against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the iconic Eden Gardens. After the two-back-to-back defeats, Hyderabad will strive to be at their best against Kolkata. In the crucial contest, SRH are bowling first after winning the toss. As of writing, KKR have amassed 26 runs in four overs after losing their openers Quinton de Kock (one off six) and Sunil Narine (seven off seven) early.
