Indian batter Rinku Singh had a hilarious moment with commentator Sanjay Manjrekar during the mid-innings interview. As Kolkata Knight Riders hosted the Royal Challengers Bangalore, the two-time champions were put under early pressure.

But Singh and Shardul Thakur stitched up a 103-run partnership to help KRR post a massive total of 204 runs. The 25-year-old put on 46 in 33 balls and was talking about his performance in the mid-innings interview. When asked about his thoughts on the knock, he mistakenly stated that he always wants to win games for his team.
Rinku Singh mistakenly said “Aise hi aage bhi team ko jeetaunga match.” Manjrekar then jokingly asked, “Have you already won the match?” as the pair burst out laughing.

Earlier in the interview, Rinku Singh talked about how he and Shardul Thakur wanted to bat through the innings. He also spoke about he was giving the Mumbai bowler the strike as he was striking well. Singh said, "We had a very good partnership (Thakur and him)."
"We spoke about taking to the end and not giving wickets. My plan was to stick around. He (Thakur) was striking it well so kept handing it over to him. The pitch is slow and we've got a very good total (translated)," he continued.
After this incredible batting performance, Kolkata put on an incredible bowling performance as they bundled out RCB at the score of 123. The spinners were stars of the show as they picked up nine out of the ten wickets.
