India wicket-keeping batter Jitesh Sharma praised Hardik Pandya's leadership skills ahead of the T20I series against New Zealand, starting on January 27. In an EXCLUSIVE interview with SportsTiger, Jitesh said that he has seen Pandya's hard work and admires the Indian all-rounder's work ethic.
"I know Hardik very well although I am not sure if he knows me. But I have observed Hardik very closely, I have seen him working hard in Reliance ground and I admire his work ethic. He is very fearless as a leader and at the same time he knows his responsibility which I really admire", said Jitesh.
The wicket-keeper batter also talked about his experience of sharing the dressing room with Indian stars. Jitesh revealed that it wasn't anything different as he knew many players there but admitted that sharing the dressing room after wearing the Indian jersey gave him a special feeling.
"I know many of these guys (Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya) as we have played against each other in domestic cricket. Surya is very welcoming. So, there was no problem in adjusting. But going into the dressing room while wearing the Indian jersey was something special", said Sharma.
