Sean Strickland lambasted Jake Paul and gave death threats after the latter made him a $1 million offer for a sparring session. Former YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul launched a verbal attack on the former UFC champion, calling him ‘embarrassing’ and a ‘horrid boxer’ after Strickland sparred with Sneako. Paul, commonly known as ‘The Problem Child’ ended up challenging Strickland to travel to Puerto Rico for a fight and $1 million.
Paul also said that if Strickland loses, he would have to get a ‘Betr’ tattoo on himself. Paul tweeted, “Shawn Strickland you’re embarrassing for trying to stop sneako like that you weren’t even able to drop someone with no experience while going all out😅 You’re a horrid boxer that only picks on inexperienced people. I’ll fly you to PR and we can fight on camera… if you win I’ll give you $1 million (half your net worth). But if you get dropped you have to get Betr tattooed on you. DM me. But just like paddy I’m guessing you’ll find a way to run.”
Strickland responds to Jake Paul’s offer, gives him death threat
Strickland responded to the offer and gave a death threat to Paul in a series of tweets. Strickland tweeted, "Real talk... jokes aside.. Jake Paul is an utter f***ing joke..... You box small retired old mma fighters and you sell sugar water to kids.. If it were legal I'd take your f***ing life with a smile on my face. Is there any place on this earth I can take this man's life and walk?”
Not only this, but he also pointed out Paul’s defeat to Tommy Fury in 2023 by tweeting, “You lost to a part time boxer..... lmao......... don't forget that.” Strickland, known as ‘Tarzan’, said that Paul won fights by facing much older MMA fighters and non-boxers.
The 32-year-old said that Paul would never get dignity by all the money he has. Here’s how the entire war of words went by. He tweeted, "Actually Jake I'll make you a better deal because money can't buy happiness and you have plenty of it and youre still a c**t....... No cameras, me and you in a desert.... That would buy my happiness... No Instagram, no likes, no games.... Just you that's what I want."
