Indian- Canadian Mixed Marital Artist Arjan Bhullar has responded to Dutch middleweight ONE champion Reiner De Ridder’s proposal. The Dutch MMA star after winning his bout in an unanimous decision against “The Burmese Python” Aung La N Sang called Bhullar out for a fight. Notably, with a win over Sang, De Ridder become the new ONE light Heavyweight World Champion.  However, none of it mattered to the newly crowned ONE Heavyweight World Champion Arjan Bhullar who countered the proposal in his own way.

Bhullar created history when he became the first-ever Indian mixed martial arts World Champion. The 34-year-old defeated Brandon “The Truth” Vera to clinch the ONE Heavyweight World Title. In a recent video, Bhullar responded to De Ridder’s proposal saying, “I’m not Aung La N Sang. Let’ get straight now”. “You are not gonna run across that cage and shoot those garbage takedowns on me, keep me down with that garbage grappling, or close the distance with that garbage striking”, Bhullar said.

The former UFC wrestler further stated that he did not think much of De Ridder as a fighter. Bhullar said that he is ready to go down one division and challenged the Dutchman to put his light heavyweight belt on the line. “None of his skills are impressive to me, and he’s not about to make a name off me,” Bhullar commented.

While De Ridder will be tempted to becoming a three-division champion with ONE Championship, Bhullar made it clear that “The Dutch Knight” would have to win a few fights at heavyweight to earn a title shot.
