The Indian team continued its winning run in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 with a seven-wicket win against Bangladesh. With this result, the Men in Blue remain one of only two unbeaten teams in the World Cup with New Zealand. But like many times in this World Cup, India's bowling trump card - Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Hasan and drew first blood. With the fall of the first wicket, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Siraj were also among the wickets as the Bangla Tigers were reduced 137-4. Rescuing Bangladesh, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah stitched up a short partnership and helped them post 256 in 50 overs.

Chasing this tricky total, Rohit Sharma continued his stellar form and gave India another great start. Supporting Shubman Gill also scored crucial as he continues his recovery from Dengue. The duo posted an 88-run stand before Sharma departed at 48. Soon Gill also got out at 53 in 55 balls while Virat Kohli held one end with some big hits.

Kohli stitched up a short partnership with Shreyas Iyer, who then got out with a 19 in 25 balls. Finishing off the game, Kohli joined hands with KL Rahul and completed his century to help India register another big win in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Kohli also took home the Player of the Match award for his 103-run knock.
