Indian star batter Rinku Singh, who recently won the gold medal at the Asian Games 2023 in the Men's Cricket event, has donated a hefty amount of INR 11 lakhs for temple construction in Uttar Pradesh. Maa Chaudhary Devi’s idol will be consecrated on October 16 in the village Kamalpur of district Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh.

The 26-year-old shot to stardom after his hard-hitting display in the Indian Premier League 2023, where he hit five sixes in the final over, scoring 48 runs out of 21 balls to help Kolkata Knight Riders beat Gujarat Titans.

According to the reports, the India and KKR middle-order batter, Rinku Singh promised to build a temple for his Kuldevi Maa Chaudhary Devi if her performed well in the IPL 2023. Rinku Singh’s brother Sonu Singh confirmed that an amount of around INR 11 lakhs has been spent on temple construction. However, the Indian batter will not be available during the consecration ceremony as he will be featuring for Uttar Pradesh in the Duleep Trophy.
