SuperGaming recently announced the release date for its highly anticipated battle royale game, Indus. The developers also revealed that the Indus Esports roadmap will kick off with a massive tournament, the Indus International Tournament, featuring a prize pool of ₹2.5 Crore. This announcement has created a buzz in the gaming industry. Also, fans are wondering if Indus will replace the banned Free Fire in India.

Can Indus replace Free Fire in India?

In February 2022, the Government of India banned Free Fire along with 56 other apps for security reasons related to China. Although Garena has announced Free Fire India, an exclusive version for India, there has been no news on its release, leaving fans disappointed. Indus could be a great replacement for them.

Indus is a battle royale game inspired by Indian culture and mythology, featuring the theme of the Indus Valley Civilization. It brings a fresh twist to the genre with its unique dual victory condition. Players can win by either being the last person standing or by strategically collecting Cosmium, which appears in the final circle of the game. This adds a new layer of strategy to the usual gameplay, making it more interesting and engaging.

Indus Release Date and Features

Indus is set to release on October 16th and will be available for download on Android and iOS devices through the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
