The fourth edition of the Intercontinental Cup 2024 began on September 3 and will conclude on September 9. Teams such as India, Mauritius, and Syria will participate in the tournament, however, the Blue Tigers will be without their key player Sunil Chhetri, who announced his retirement from international football.   

Apart from this, the Blue Tigers will play under a new coach, Manolo Marquez, who replaced Igor Stimac. The Intercontinental Cup will also be a preparation ground for the home side, India ahead of the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.

The tournament will start on September 3 and conclude on September 9. All the teams will play each other once (single round-robin format). The winner of the league stage will be declared winners. All the matches will be played at the GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium in Hyderabad.
