Internet sensation and Cristiano Ronaldo super-fan IShowSpeed shared an unexpected yet hilarious moment with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag after the Red Devils won the FA Cup 2024 at Wembley. Man United defeated arch-rivals Manchester City 2-1 thanks to goals from academy graduates Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo to cap off a dismal season.
After this victory, Manchester United had a party where all the players, coaching staff and the manager celebrated their performance. At this event, IShowSpeed was also invited and was seen interacting with players like Garnacho, Andre Onnana, Sofyan Ambrabat and more.
IShowSpeed tells Erik ten Hag "You're going to sign me!"
Soon Speed was spotted chatting with Man United manager Erik ten Hag. Here the CR7 superfan jokingly told the Dutchman that he will soon sign for the Red Devils to which Ten Hag had a hilarious reaction as he looked extremely confused. Speed was quoted saying "Thank you, my boy! Hey, one day, you're going to sign me! Love you!"

Coming back to Erik ten Hag, the former Ajax manager was asked about whether he will continue his job next season, after reports about the club sacking him after the FA Cup. Speaking to the press, Ten Hag said, “I don’t think about this, I am in a project. We are exactly where we want to be. We are constructing a team. When I took over it was a mess. The team is developing and winning. It is about winning trophies. The team plays to an identity. You need a strong squad."
“You need players available and there is a lot of work to do. The team is progressing and we are winning trophies. Two trophies in two years is not bad. I am not satisfied. If they don’t want me any more I will go [somewhere else] to win trophies because that is what I do in my whole career.”
