Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir talked about the impact of Hanuman Chalisa on his daily life. The cricketer-turned-commentator revealed how Hanuman Chalisa has been impacting him over the years. Gambhir reacted to an old video of him talking about how he listened to Hanuman Chalisa for two days straight during the 2009 Napier Test against New Zealand.
Notably, during the 2009 Test, Gambhir played a long inning of 137 runs and batted for more than 400 balls over around 640 minutes. In the video that has resurfaced on social media, the BJP MP could be heard saying that for two days straight, during tea, dinner and even while sleeping, he kept listening to Hanuman Chalisa.

The 41-year-old reshared the video on his profile and wrote that he listens to the Chalisa daily as it gives him strength. Gambhir wrote, “Regularly. It gives me immense strength!” The former cricketer, who played a key role in India’s victory in the 2011 World Cup, is currently a part of the commentary panel for the ongoing Asia Cup 2023.
