Internet sensation Jake Paul took down UFC legend Anderson Silva on points as continued his undefeated streak in his six-fight boxing career. The 25-year-old American YouTube star-turned-boxer knocked down the 47-year-old Brazilian in the eighth round of the bout.

The judges scored the fight at the Desert Diamond Arena in Phoenix, Arizona - 77-74, 78-73 and 78-73 to Paul which had an audience of 14,000 fans. Silva has been one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time. He was the UFC middleweight champion from 2006 to 2013 and created a legendary record of 16 consecutive victories that still stands.

"It's a surreal moment. Hard work pays off," Paul said. "I want to say thank you to Anderson. He was my idol growing up and he inspired me to be great. Without him, we wouldn't have a fight this year. He's a tough mofo, like for real. I have a lot of respect for him."

After the fight, Jake Paul went ahead and called out other greats of the fighting world - the hottest MMA free agent Nate Diaz and boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez. A possible fight with Diaz could be a reality as the Diablo had an altercation with one of Paul’s entourage members,  shortly after Diaz's teammate, Chris Avila, registered a victory to open the PPV card.

Addressing these pugilists, Paul called Diaz a ‘ b****’ and also called out the undisputed super-middleweight champion when addressing his next challenge. The Problem Child said, “He tried to come into my locker room and cause some s*** then he always leaves the f****ng arena so Nate Diaz, stop being a b**** and fight me. Canelo, you too. You guys said you can’t beat a striker and a legend like Anderson Silva, I just did it. So, why can’t I beat Canelo? F*** y’all.”
