The YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, “The Problem Child,” has lost a $1000 bet to UFC fighter Bo Nickal on his YouTube podcast Bo Gets Betr, while taking part in a peculiar boxing skill challenge. Both these athletes engaged in a test of their reflexes, trying to do as many punches as possible with a reflex ball, which was tied to their head with a string, leading to Nickal prevailing over Paul in a close contest.
For the unversed, Jake Paul is scheduled to take on another former UFC fighter, Nate Diaz, in a serious boxing match on August 5. The highly anticipated money fight is going to happen at the American Airlines Center in Dallas this weekend for 10 rounds in the 185-pound category.

Talking about the boxing skill challenge, Paul and Nickal had put down a $1000 bet, with the loser paying the sum to the Boxing Bullies, a foundation of the YouTuber-turned-boxer created in 2021. The UFC fighter, who stepped up first, got eight punches in before missing the reflex ball, while the pugilist had to settle with six punches only.

But, then in a kind gesture, both athletes agreed to donate $1000 each to Jake Paul’s foundation, which works with the sports community to combat bullying and help those who have suffered from bullying. Afterwards, The Problem Child also discussed on Bo Gets Betr YouTube podcast about the influence of his dad in keeping him motivated as a person and a professional boxer.
He said, “My dad says this and I'm going to steal this, shout out Greg Paul; 'the road to success is always under construction so it's always changing' - some moments might be easier than others, some might be harder than others.”
