Australian fast-bowler Josh Hazlewood is set to be part of the Indian Premier League 2024 auction. The player acquirement process is scheduled to take place on December 19 in Dubai. So Thursday, November 30, will be crucial as it is the final day for players to register for the IPL auction.

Players are required to submit their names along with No Objection Certificates (NOCs) through their respective boards. So far over 700 players have registered for the auction, including prominent names from the recent ODI World Cup.
As per Cricbuzz, players like Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Travis Head, Daryl Mitchell, Rachin Ravindra, Ibrahim Zadran and Rahmat Shah have enrolled in the auction. Similarly, speculation of Josh Hazlewood's availability for the tournament has been making the rounds.
After the registrations, franchises will be asked to submit a shortened list of players. The BCCI predicts around 70 players will be sold at the auction with transactions up to INR 262.95 crore to fill the 77 available slots across the 10 squads. Further, teams can pick up around 30 foreign players.
