South Africa won’t be able to win the ongoing four-match T20I series against India after losing two of the first three games in Durban and Centurion. But still, the Proteas will be aiming to draw the series with a commanding performance in Johannesburg against the Indian cricket team, but their batters and bowlers have to pull their socks up, to deliver the goods.

Marco Jansen was by far the best performer for South Africa in the third T20I, with the bat, ball, and in the field, while the captain Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen played good cameos in the middle overs, taking Varun Chakravarthy to the cleaners. The other players weren’t up to their game for South Africa, which cost them the chance to lead the series with the final game still remaining.

In this article, SportsTiger looks at South Africa’s probable playing XI versus India for the fourth T20I in Johannesburg.

Ryan Rickelton has got off to three starts in the first three T20I matches of the series, but he is yet to get a big score for South Africa against India, getting dismissed each time in the powerplay. His opening partner Reeza Hendricks didn’t get an innings of substance in the series either in front of some exceptional bowling from the Indian spinners, but he has played only two matches thus far.
