Afghanistani viral fan girl Wazhma Ayoubi reacted to the team's lethal bowling attack against Australia in the ODI World Cup 2023. The South Asian team locked horns with the five-time champions in the 39th clash of the ICC masterpiece. The match took place on November 7, Tuesday, at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Afghan skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi won the toss and elected to bat first and posted a total of 291 on the scoreboard.

After an applaudable batting show in the first inning, the Asian team went on to dominate their rivals in the second inning as well. The lethal bowling attack by the Afghan bowlers proved to be destructive for the Kangaroos and they ended up losing wickets in quick succession.

Coming back to the tournament, India and South Africa have secured their berths in the semifinal stage of the tournament. While the five-time champions sit in the third spot with five out of seven wins in the ongoing season, Afghanistan sit in sixth position with four wins.
