Kevin Holland, the American MMA athlete, has offered to fight Jack Della Maddelena at UFC 290 on a week's notice, after Sean Brady has pulled out of the event. This bout might happen three weeks before his scheduled fight with Michael Chiesa at UFC 291 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City on July 29.
It has been revealed earlier that Sean Brady is unable to take on the Australian combat sport athlete Jack Della Maddelena at UFC 290 on July 8 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, reportedly due to an undisclosed injury. The loss of the American from the event is considered as a serious blow to the main card of the upcoming pay-per-view, due to his immense popularity among the fans worldwide.
Shortly afterward, Kevin Holland ‘The Trailblazer’ took to Instagram to post a story about his intention to replace Sean Brady against Jack Della Maddelena. He said, “July 10th, I’m gonna check my weight, I think I can make it, 170, no problem, hell, matter of fact… Chiesa fight? Let me fight both of these guys at 175. 175, July 10th? Scrap that one, then the next one? July 29th, 175, two fights, You know who the real BMF is round this m*****f*****.”
The 30-year-old MMA fighter had his last bout in the Ultimate Fighting Championship on April 8 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. During UFC 287, Kevin Holland managed to beat Santiago Ponzinibbio of Argentina via a bizarre knockout during the third round of their fight in the welterweight division.
Overall, during his professional career in the Mixed Martial Arts, The Trailblazer has a 24-9 record inside the octagon. It also includes 14 knockout and six submission victories.
