Former England captain Kevin Pietersen has made a name for himself as a great social media personality. Time and again, he uses his social media account to come up with interesting and insightful observations about the sporting world. He even uses it to campaign social and environmental causes. However, one of his recent tweets is receiving the flak of netizens and understandably so as it seems to be an indirect dig towards 'God of Cricket' Sachin Tendulkar.
Notably, Pietersen asked on Twitter why people need to “announce to the world” when they test positive for COVID-19. This came hours after cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar declared that he had contracted the infection.

The timing of KP's social media post has caused it to receive flak as Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh also replied to his post. Yuvi asked Pietersen why he had the thought on the day of Sachin testing positive. Many fans also pointed it out to Pietersen who later expressed surprise on the development and wished the 'Master Blaster' a speedy recover.
