Former England captain Kevin Pietersen is known for his sharp insights into the game. KP is part of the commentary panel for the ongoing IPL 2021 and is in the United Arab Emirates for this assignment. Sharing a picture from one of the venues of the tournament in which Pietersen could be seen wearing a shirt drenched in sweat highlighting the heat and humidity in the Middle East Country, he captioned the post, "Caption this from now?"
While the South Africa-born individual's comment section quickly got filled with hilarious comments, one comment that stood out was from SunRisers Hyderabad wicketkeeper batter Sreevats Goswami as he wrote, Forgot to give your shirt for laundry." However, Pietersen decided to give it back to Goswami. The 41-year-old, who likes a bit of a banter responded, "@sreevatsgoswami mate! If your team was here, I wouldn't have bothered sweating so much to talk about them. I would have left," he replied.

Notably, the Orange army have had a forgettable season so far and are currently at the bottom of the points table. The team has played eight matches but has managed to register a solitary win, losing the seven other matches.
In their last match against Delhi Capitals, Hyderabad managed to score 134/9 that too because of contributions from lower-order batters like Abdul Samad and Rashid Khan. None of their top batters- the likes of David Warner, Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey raised their hand up and took their team to a par score.
In response, Delhi were clinical in their run chase and scored the required runs with 13 balls and 8 wickets remaining. Shreyas Iyer (47*) and Shikhar Dhawan did the bulk of the scoring for Delhi with captain Rishabh Pant also remaining unbeaten.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad will next be up against Punjab Kings who too have had a horror run in the competition so far. However, Punjab have at least won three matches from their nine games and stand a chance of qualification to the next round if they win each of their last five matches. In their last match, Punjab failed to score eight runs from 12 balls despite having eight wickets in hand and ended up losing the match by 2 runs.
