In a recent TRS (The Ranveer Show) podcast, LSG (Lucknow Super Giants) owner Sanjiv Goenka cleared some air regarding his fallout with KL Rahul, where he mentioned him as his family. Incident that sparked controversy in IPL 2024

The feud erupted during a post-match chat between Goenka and Rahul following LSG's crushing 10-wicket loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in IPL 2024. Cameras filmed an animated argument, which rapidly became a source of heated discussion on social media. Critics thought that Goenka's severe demeanour represented displeasure with Rahul's captaincy, leading to rumours of a fallout and Rahul's possible departure from LSG.

While praising Rahul's honesty, Goenka in the podcast said, “He is a very honest and decent person, and I wish that everything good happens to an honest person like him. He is incredibly talented, and I am sure he will shine in the future.” KL Rahul, after getting delisted by LSG from the retention list, was picked by DC for Rs 14 crore at IPL 2025 mega auction.

MS Dhoni Has Not Spoken A Word And Will Not: Sanjiv Goenka

Sanjiv Goenka stated that MS Dhoni has not talked since being sacked from the captaincy of the Rising Pune Supergiants (RPSG). Goenka noted that it is a private matter that was settled by mutual communication between two people.

"He has not spoken a word and will not. And it's a private relationship. It's a communication that was between two individuals, and two individuals concluded. And that was that. What is important is that this relationship is still very good," Goenka said. He also heaped praises for the former Indian captain stating that he has rarely seen a leader like Dhoni and there is so much to learn from him whenever he catches up with the former Indian captain. Goenka said he is especially happy with how he has developed Matheesha Pathirana into a genuine match-winner with the ball.
