The social media sensation and fighter took to X (former Twitter) to reveal that he has enjoyed the honour of being Misfits Cruiserweight Champion and would like to relinquish the belt with a new champion to be crowned in the next Survivor Tag. “I have enjoyed the honour of being The Misfits Cruiserweight Champion immensely. I am relinquishing the belt and a new champion will be crowned on the next Survivor Tag,” he wrote.

KSI further revealed that he has other plans stating, “I have other plans in the pipeline and it wouldn’t be fair for me to hold that title any longer”.

It is to be noted that the YouTuber-turned boxer launched Misfits in 2022. He beat rapper Swarmz and Mexican boxer Luis Pinenda to win the Cruiserweight title and defended later in a knockout game with gamer Faze Temper and professional boxer Joe Fournier.

Recently, the 30-year-old confirmed that he will return to the boxing arena this year but did not reveal the name of his opponent. However, reports suggest that he could fight any from Jake Paul, Tommy Fury, Joey Essex, Jorge Masvidal and Tyron Woodley.
