India’s star chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav, who was the hero for India in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2023, was spotted at the Bageshwar Dham ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023 in India. The bowler took blessings from Pandit Dhirendra Shastri along with his family as the pictures went viral on social media.

The bowler had a rough patch after the 2019 World Cup and was dropped from the team subsequently. The left-armer made a comeback for the Indian squad recently and instantly impressed everyone with his performance. Yadav delivered an amazing display of bowling in the Super Four fixture against arch-rivals Pakistan. He took a fifer which included wickets of key Pakistani batters like Fakhar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Agha Salman.

Ahead of the Australia series and the ODI World Cup 2023, the 28-year-old wrist spinner visited the Bageshwar Dham, which is located in Ganj District, Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh.

The star bowler is known to visit the temple, as he had visited the Bageshwar Dham before the tour of West Indies in July. His pictures with Pandit Dhirendra Shastri had gone viral back then and also had a great series in the West Indies, after which he sealed his spot in the Indian team.

After Pakistan thrashing, Yadav continued his purple patch in the next match against Sri Lanka, where he clinched four wickets. The 28-year-old dismissed in-form batters Sadeera Samarawickrama and Charith Asalanka. His spell of 4/43 Helped to restrict the Lankans to a score of 172 and India won by a margin of 41 runs. For securing nine wickets in five matches with an outstanding average of 11.44 and an economical bowling rate of 3.61, the bowler was adjudged as the Man of the Tournament.

Kuldeep is also a part of the 15-member World Cup squad which was named earlier this month. However, he has been rested for the first two ODIs against Australia, as the management does not want him to be exposed to other batsmen ahead of the marquee event.
