The IPL 2023 fixture between Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings saw a stunning batting effort by KL Rahul's men as they posted the second-highest score in IPL- 257 runs. After an incredible start by West Indian powerhouse Kyle Mayers, who smashed 54 in 24 balls with seven fours and four sixes. Then came the duo of Ayush Badoni and Marcus Stoinis, who continued the carnage and added a partnership of 89 runs.
Badoni fell after scoring 43 in 24 balls but Stoinis continued and was finally dismissed at the score of 73 in 40 balls. Celebrating this sublime batting performance, fans flooded social media with praiseful comments for the Lucknow batters. Some even expressed that LSG were eyeing Royal Challengers Bangalore's record of 263 runs, the highest score in IPL history.
