The much-awaited ODI World Cup is now less than 10 days away and all teams are now heading to the Indian subcontinent for the marquee event. But ahead of the start of the 50-over World Cup in India, the Pakistan team is yet to receive the visa, leading to a delay in their travel plans.

Meanwhile, ahead of the neighbour’s departure, pacer Haris Rauf addressed a press conference and a video of from that instance is now doing rounds on social media. One of the journalists present at the presser questioned the Pakistan pacer about the lack of aggression nowadays during India vs Pakistan clash, to which he replied that the teams are fighting a war, but are playing a match.
“Toh kya ab ladai karle unke saath. Cricket khel rahe hai jang thodi lagi hui hai (Why should I go and fight with Indians? It is cricket and not war),” Rauf replied.

Additionally, Rauf was also questioned on his fitness by the journalist present at the arena to which the Pakistan pacer shook his body and replied that he is fit. It is to be noted that Rauf was down with a strain during the Asia Cup 2023, with chances of him missing the marquee event in India.
Pakistan will begin their ODI World Cup 2023 campaign against Netherlands in Hyderabad on October 6. They will take on Sri Lanka on October 10 before going head-to-head against arch-rivals India on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
