France striker K ylian Mbappe, who recently played his last home game for Paris Saint Germain (PSG) at Parc des Princes was reportedly involved in a heated altercation with the club’s President Nasser Al-Khelaifi ahead of his farewell game, according to the reports by Le Parisien. The 25-year-old announced his exit from the club last week through a video on his social media handles where he showcased his gratitude for the club.
Although the Ligue 1 winners conducted no official ceremony for Mbappe in his final home game, the PSG ultras paid tribute to the French forward by unfurling a huge Tifo. The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, opened the account for the home side by netting a goal in just eight minutes into the game. However, riding on the aggressive brand of play, the visiting side secured a convincing 1-3 victory.
According to French outlet Le Parisien, the PSG Chief wasn’t happy with the video as the PSG’s highest goal scorer didn’t mention him in the farewell video, which led to screaming and an altercation between the two, before the start of the match. It was Al-Khelaifi who acted from the front to secure Mbappe’s deal in 2018 from AS Monaco for €180 million.
