Star French footballer, Kylian Mbappé saw his childhood dream coming true when he was unveiled as a Real Madrid player in front of 80,000 people at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid on Tuesday, July 16th. The striker has signed a five-year deal with the La Liga Football club. Other football clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal were also keen to make a deal with Mbappe, but it was Real Madrid who finally signed the French striker ahead of La Liga 2024.
Mbappe is set to make his official debut for Los Blancos when they play their first match of the season in the UEFA Super Cup final against Atalanta in Warsaw on August 15th. With this deal, Mbappe has also ended his seven-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Now the fans are more keen to know how much Mbappe will earn through his contract with Real Madrid.
How much salary will Kylian Mbappe get at Real Madrid?
Kylian Mbappe has signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid until 2029 and will be the highest paid player at Los Blancos. However, the French striker will be getting paid less than the salary he got at PSG. Mbappe will be getting a signing bonus of €150 million (₹13.66 Billion) in his five years contract with Madrid.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup champion is set to receive a gross salary of €26 Million (₹236.85 Cr), which is more than two of the highest paid footballers of the club, David Alaba (€22.5 million i,e. ₹204.97 Cr) and Luka Modric (€21.9 million, i,e.₹199.52 Cr).
Along with the signing bonus and gross salary, Mbappe will also be getting 80% of his image rights, while Real Madrid will keep the rest 20%. According to Madrid Universal, the club negotiated this after starting with asking for 40% to 50% of his image rights.
The French footballer has multiple deals with several brands like Nike, Hublot, Orange, EA Sports, and Dior through which he will earn around €30 Million (₹273.31 Cr) per season.
