Spain and Barcelona star player Lamine Yamal was spotted in the WWE Smackdown event, which was held at the Olimpic Arena in Barcelona on March 14, 2025. Before Barcelona’s crucial assignment against Atletico Madrid at Riyadh Air Metropolitano in La Liga 2024-25 on March 16, Yamal was seen having a great time at the wrestling event. Lamine was a key figure in Barcelona’s success against Benfica in the UEFA Champions League 2024-25 round of 16. Barcelona advanced to the quarter-finals of the premier football tournament with a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Benfica.
Prior to WWE’s premier event, the wrestling organisation is on a visit to prominent European cities. Yamal relished the event with his friends. The teen footballer also clicked images with the WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque, who is also known as Triple-H. Besides Levesque, he also posed with the wrestling superstars Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. Yamal shared his pictures with the iconic WWE figures on his official Instagram account. Following the Barcelona event, WWE is all set to travel to Germany and Belgium for organising live events.
Yamal will look to continue his form against Atletico Madrid
Yamal will back himself to do wonders for Barcelona against Atletico Madrid in the Madrid encounter on March 16. The clash between both sides will be vital as Atletico Madrid is looking to depose Barcelona, who are holding the top spot on the points tally with 57 points earned through 18 triumphs in 26 outings.
