The inaugural edition of the Lanka T10 Super League, organised by the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), will begin on December 11 in the city of Kandy. The opening match of the Lanka T10 Super League 2024, following a glittering opening ceremony, will be played between Jaffna Kings and Hambantota Bangla Tigers, while the second match of the day will see Nuwara Eliya Kings compete against Colombo Jaguars and the third and final match of the day will see Galle Marvels take on Kandy Bolts.
The Lanka T10 Super League 2024 will have a format wherein each team will play seven matches, including once against three opponents and twice versus two opponents, to secure a top four spot on the points table. With that, the qualified teams will be a step closer to reaching the final of the league, which will go down on December 19 after the playoffs stage.
