Australia won their ninth ICC trophy by defeating India by 209 runs in WTC 2023 final. Pat Cummins became the latest addition to win an ICC trophy as a captain. Overall, Pat Cummins became the sixth Australian player to win an ICC final as a captain and the 31st player in the world to do so.
