Format

Play-In Stage (September 25th - 29th)

In the Play-In Stage, eight teams will compete in a Double Elimination format. This means if a team loses twice, they are out of the tournament. All matches will be played in a best-of-three (Bo3) format, so teams need to win two out of three games to win the match. The top four teams from this stage will move on to the Swiss Stage, while the others will be eliminated.

Swiss Stage (October 3rd - 7th and 10th - 13th)

In the Swiss Stage, four teams from the Play-In Stage will join twelve teams that have already qualified from China, South Korea, Europe, and North America.

There will be 16 teams in total. In the first round, teams will face opponents from different regions. For rounds 2 to 5, teams will be matched based on their win-loss records. Matches to decide elimination or advancement will be best-of-three (Bo3), while all other matches will be best-of-one (Bo1).

Teams that get 3 wins will move to the Knockout Stage, and teams with 3 losses will be eliminated. The choice of which side to play on will be decided by initial draw pools, with higher pools getting the first choice.

Knockout Stage (October 17th - 20th, October 26th - 27th, and November 2nd)

The Knockout Stage will feature eight teams in a single elimination bracket. This means if a team loses, they are out of the tournament. Teams with Side Selection Privilege can choose which side to play on in Game 1, while the losing team gets to choose in the next game.

In the Quarterfinals, the team with a better record from the Swiss Stage will have this privilege. If both teams have the same record, the decision will be based on their draw order. For later matches, a coin flip will decide the side. All matches in this stage will be played in a best-of-five (Bo5) format.
