The ninth edition of the Women’s Big Bash League is underway and the third day of the tournament, October 21, saw the Adelaide Strikers Women win by a margin of 148 runs. Notably, after winning the to, the Tahila McGrath-led side posted 177 at the loss of three wickets in their 20 overs. Sophie Day was the sole Stars’ bowler to clinch the three wickets, conceding 24 runs in her four overs.

Notably, who would have thought that what would happen next. The McGrath-led side reduced the strong looking side at the score of 29 in just 9.3 overs. While Sophia Dunkley added nine runs, skipper Meg Lanning departed at the score of 1. All Stars players departed in single digit scores with them registering the lowest-ever total in WBBL history.
