The second edition of Mallorca Open 2022 is set to kick start on June 19, at Outdoor Grass Court in Mallorca Country Club in Spain. World number one Daniil Medvedev is the current Men's Singles Champion, while Simone Bolelli and Maximo Gonzalez are the Men's Doubles Champions.
The ATP Mallorca Open was set to be played in 2020 as a replacement for the Antalya Open in Turkey on the grass swing of the ATP tour. However, it later got cancelled due to the Pandemic and instead started off in 2021. It will be hosted in the week before Wimbledon at Santa Ponca, giving players their last chance to prepare themselves for the third major competition of the year.
The prize money purse of €886,500 is allotted for the 2022 Mallorca Championship which will be distributed amongst players. However, the complete prize money breakdown is yet to be announced by the organisers. Let's look at the details regarding the tournament.
