Kolkata Knight Riders youngster Angkrish Raghuvanshi trolled his KKR teammate Philip Salt after their dominant 106-run victory over the Delhi Capitals in Vizag. Raghuvanshi, playing his maiden IPL inning, smashed 54 in 27 balls with five fours and three sixes as KKR posted 272, the second-highest score in IPL history.
After the match, Angkrish Raghuvanshi was praised by several of his teammates on Instagram including opening batter Phil Salt, who shared a story with the young Indian batter's picture. In reply to this post, Raghuvanshi reshared the story and jokingly trolled his teammate by writing, "Manc is still red." Salt is a Manchester City fan whereas Raghuvanshi supports Man United.

The 18-year-old Indian also spoke about how his Manchester United fandom in the post-match interview where he dedicated his Marcus Rashford-inspired celebration to his teammate Nitish Rana, who also supports the same team. Raghuvanshi said, "My celebration was dedicated to Nitish Rana bhai, he is injured - we both are Manchester United fans".

Talking about his batting performance, Angkrish Raghuvanshi shared how he trusted his instincts and played every ball to its merit. Speaking in the mid-innings interview, Raghuvanshi said, "I just wanted to watch the ball and react."
"I had worked in the nets for the last few weeks, just had fun watching Sunil play. Having watched the SRH match, nothing's a winning score, we'll have to bowl well. Bowl in the right channels and force them into mistakes."
