After video of Manu Bhaker’s mother speaking with Tokyo 2020 Olympics gold medallist and Paris 2024 silver medallist, Neeraj Chopra went viral, her father, Ram Kishan Bhaker has now opened up, ending rumours of the two athletes' possible marriage. It is to be noted that the two Indian athletes who won medals at the recently concluded Paris Olympics 2024, were spotted together with fans speculating their marriage.
After that, Manu Bhaker’s mother, Sumedha Bhaker was seen conversing with the silver medallist. It is to be noted that Bhaker became the first Indian woman shooter to win Olympic medal and also the first to win two medals in a single edition of Olympics post-independence.
Pistol shooter’s father shuts false rumours after video goes viral
After the video from the 2024 Paris Olympics went viral, Manu Bhaker’s father, Ram Kishan Bhaker has now responded, shutting down false marriage rumours. He emphasised that Manu is “still too young” and that the family is “not thinking of her marriage” at this point in time. The Bhaker family’s focus remains on supporting Manu’s athletic career and personal growth.”
Speaking with Dainik Bhaskar, Ram Kishan Bhaker added, “Manu is still very young. She is not even of marriageable age. Not even thinking about it right now,” put rest to the rumour mongers. He further revealed that Manu’s mother considers Neeraj as her son.
