The Chrono Versary event in the Marvel Contest of Champions (MCOC) has been  celebrating each year of the game, from 2014 to 2023. Each week, a new quest will open, focusing on one year. To join each quest, you’ll need to bring Champions who were added to the game during that year. Special crystals are available to help you collect these era-specific Champions. There are also solo objectives for extra rewards when you defeat certain defenders and use specific Champion tags. Check out all the details of the MCOC Chrono Versary Event.

How to play MCOC Chrono Versary Event?

1. Start the Chrono Versary Quests

Each quest has three paths with six fights per path. The difficulty adjusts to your Summoner progression level. Quests remain open until the event ends, so you can return to unfinished paths at any time.

2. Weekly Solo Objectives & Events

Each week introduces a "Party Like it’s 20XX" Solo Objective, asking you to win fights using Champions from that year. You’ll also have a "Venatio" objective requiring you to defeat Champions with specific tags. Solo Events, like the Surging Salvo, are ongoing throughout the event, rewarding points for defeating specific Champions.

3. Explore All Paths and Rewards

Some paths reward you with Mysterium Shards, Hero Crystal Shards, and exclusive profile pictures. Completing multiple paths is essential to maximize your rewards.

The MCOC Chrono Versary Event offers valuable rewards through quests, objectives, and milestones:

  • Path Rewards: Gain Mysterium shards and other resources.
  • Solo Objectives: Completing objectives unlocks 5-star and 6-star Hero Crystal Shards, exclusive profile pictures, and other bonuses based on your progression level (Proven, Conqueror, Cavalier, Thronebreaker, Paragon).
  • Special Titles: Earn unique titles like "The Incredible," "The Superior," and "The Immortal" by completing Venatio objectives.

Weekly Breakdown

Each week, a new year-themed quest opens with specific objectives and rewards. 

Week 1: Start with the 2014 and 2015 quests. Rewards include 5-star Hero Crystal Shards and profile pictures of characters like Guillotine and Morningstar.

Following Weeks: Each additional week opens another year’s quest, adding Hero Crystal Shards and profile pictures for classic Champions like Venompool, Symbiote Supreme, and Guillotine 2099.
