Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team signed a multi-year contract deal with athleisure brand Adidas ahead of their 2025 F1 season. With this, the team ended their partnership with their previous partners, Puma. Notably, the team finished fourth-overall in seven-time world champions Lewis Hamilton’s last season before he moved to Ferrari. The Adidas deal was expected to be signed last year, and several leaked images of branded apparel made rounds on social media.

Notably, the Silver Arrows will witness major changes in their setup for the forthcoming season. Firstly, they will be without Hamilton, who went on to join rival team Scuderia Ferrari from this year. Not only this, but the side is also set to induct Andrea Kimi Antonelli, and before the induction, the team announced a major change in sponsorship deals. On January 7, Mercedes announced their two-year partnership with popular athleisure brand Adidas.

Adidas is an iconic brand, one that shares our dedication: Mercedes announces two-year deal with Adidas

Mercedes announced a two-year deal with Adidas and said, "Our partnership with Adidas is a clear statement of intent as we begin to write our next chapter as a team. Adidas is an iconic brand, one that shares our dedication not only to peak performance but to style and sophistication too. This announcement therefore represents a groundbreaking collaboration that will redefine what team and fanwear means in our sport."

Notably, Hamilton, who turned 40 recently, was replaced by 18-year-old Italian rookie Kimi Antonelli, who will partner with George Russell. It is to be noted that Mercedes also had fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger as their partner last season. Lewis Hamilton was an ambassador for the premium apparel brand.
