After an incredible Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, the Formula One circus heads to Miami, Florida for the first time in history. The new track in the Magic City will make its debut and become one of the three circuits in the USA alongside the Austin Grand Prix and the Las Vegas Grand Prix. 

The circuit is called the ‘Miami International Autodrome’ and is situated in Miami Gardens around the Hard Rock Stadium. This new track took around 12 months to finish, starting from design to its completed construction. The foundation stones for the Pit Buildings were laid on 1 September 2021 while the permanent features of the track were completed in January 2022.

How long is the track at the Miami International Autodrome?

The city circuit in Miami is 5.41 km long and will feature 19 corners, and three straights with three DRS zones.

How many elevation changes are at the Miami International Autodrome?

The main elevation changes can be found between Turns 13 and 16, where the track leads over an exit ramp and under various flyovers across uneven ground. Then second elevation change is visible at Turn 14-15 chicane where there is an uphill approach, with a crest in the middle followed by a drop-down on the exit.
