He is doing well now: Kasi Viswanathan provides update on MS Dhoni
CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan recently provided an update about Dhoni’s participation in the 2024 season of the league. The 2011 World Cup-winning captain underwent knee surgery after the completion of the IPL 2023, leading to questions regarding his participation in the forthcoming season. However, Dhoni’s name in the franchise’s retention list before the tournament put an end to all the rumours.

And, probably in another ten days, he’ll also start working in the nets.” He added, “We are planning for a camp somewhere by the first week of March. The IPL season is likely to start by the 22nd of March. So, we will have our first camp by the first week in Chennai.”
