Gaurav Kumar, the die-hard MS Dhoni fan, expressed his happiness on Instagram after meeting his idol

In a post on his Instagram account (@epic_g7), Gaurav Kumar was grinning ear to ear while announcing to everyone about MS Dhoni meeting him. The young man spoke about how happy he was, to be in the same space with the former Chennai Super Kings captain, and now, he will be heading back home from Ranchi to Delhi, on a cycle, which had a cardboard sign of “MS Dhoni, Captain Cool.”

Moreover, MS Dhoni, who last played professional cricket in the IPL 2024 for Chennai Super Kings, is expected to be a part of the franchise in the playing capacity in the next season. After the IPL governing council announced the controversial rule for IPL teams to retain a former national team cricketer as an uncapped player five years into their retirement, MS Dhoni is one of the rare few cricketers to make the cut.

The IPL teams are reportedly given till the end of this October month to give their list of players to be retained ahead of the IPL2025 auction, and the maximum number could be six.
