The former World Cup-winning captain for India, MS Dhoni, was pictured on camera with the Indian superstar actor Mohanlal, which went viral on social media, on September 23, Saturday. The 41-year-old was reportedly taking part in an ad shoot with the “Kireedam” famed artist, who is predominantly known for working in the Malayalam film industry.

MS Dhoni, who returned home to India from his vacation in the United States of America recently, made a lot of great memories during his time halfway across the world. He was spotted at the Flushing Meadows for the US Open, watching the men’s singles quarter-final between Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev, before turning up at a golf course to play the game with the 45th President of the USA, Donald Trump.
The viral picture of MS Dhoni and Mohanlal was shared on his official Twitter account by Mufaddal Vohra, one of the well-known personalities on the platform. He captioned his tweet, “MS Dhoni with Mohanlal for an Ad shoot,” to raise speculation about what the two esteemed Indian celebrities are bringing to the audiences soon.

MS Dhoni, who captained Chennai Super Kings for their record-equalling fifth title in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in May of this year, hasn’t played professional cricket since then. The Ranchi-born cricketer underwent knee surgery at the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, shortly after the tournament had finished, and since then, he has recovered from his injury, travelling around the world, during the IPL off-season.
