With former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper,  MS Dhoni’s future in Indian Premier League (IPL)  under clouds, fans have time and again spoken about the stalwart playing his last few editions of the tournament. With the IPL 2024 reaching its penultimate stage, there have been talks around MS Dhoni’s retirement once again.

CSK’s last game at their home at Chepauk Stadium, which saw them  beat Rajasthan Royals by five wickets  left fans into frenzy that it was MS Dhoni’s last match, but with Chennai playing their final league stage fixture at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), these speculations have once again come into news with ticket demands also spiking high.

However, there hasn’t been any confirmation from the star player himself or even the franchise and team management on it, fans are fearing that it could be his last with the 42-year-old playing despite a reported muscle tear.
