Following the Raptors' 132-131 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night, Toronto coach Darko Rajakovic furiously ranted about the officiating during the game. A day later, the NBA hit the Serbian coach with a $25,000 fine for his assessment of the officiating in the loss to the Lakers.

After the Lakers were awarded 23 free throw attempts in the fourth quarter against the Raptors, Rajakovic was heated in the postgame presser and criticized the officials. In his furious rant, Rajakovic said, " They had to win tonight? If that's the case, just let us know, so we don't show up for the game. Just give them a win. But that was not fair tonight. And this is not happening first time for us.
"Scottie Barnes is going to be (an) All-Star. He's going to be the face of this league, and what's happening over here during the whole season ... it's complete crap."

NBA fines Raptors' Rajakovic $25k Amount
The NBA released a statement that read, "Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic has been fined $25,000 for publicly criticizing the officiating, it was announced today by Joe Dumars, Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations. "

Following their one-point loss against the Lakers, Rajakovic's Raptors again lost their back-to-back games at the Crypto.com Arena as the LA Clippers beat Toronto 126-120 on Wednesday.
