The Cricket Australia on Monday, November 13 named the team of the tournament for ODI World Cup 2023. The quadrennial tournament, which is currently underway in India, will see the top four teams, that are India, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand fight for the coveted trophy, with the final set to take place on Sunday, 19th November in Ahmedabad.

However, the league stage ended on Sunday, 12th November with India going unbeaten so far in the tournament, the hosts will now take on Kane Williamson-led New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium in one of the semifinals, while the five-time champions will take on South Africa at the Eden Gardens.
But ahead of the knockout stage, Cricket Australia named their Best XI with only three Australians making it to it. While it is Aussie opener David Warner, hard-hitter Glenn Maxwell and spinner Adam Zampa, four Indians have made it to the XI this time, the most from any team. CA has named Virat Kohli as the captain of the XI, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah are the others.
