Former Indian cricketer and head coach Rahul Dravid is celebrating his 52nd birthday on January 11, 2024. Widely regarded as The Wall, Dravid was one of India’s best batters in Test cricket, known for his solid defense. With over 13000 runs in Tests, and 10000+ runs in ODIs, Dravid comes third in the list of leading run scorers for India across all formats. Dravid has played 164 Tests, 344 ODIs and one T20I in his international career amassing 24208 in all three formats combined. 

Post his cricketing career, Rahul Dravid took up the coaching role and served as head coach of Indian U-19 team from 2015 to 2019. Under his coaching, the junior Indian team won the U-19 World Cup in 2018. After that, Dravid took over as head coach of the senior Indian cricket team from 2021 to 2024. He ended his coaching stint for India on a high note after India clinched the T20 World Cup in 2024. After not winning any ICC trophy as a player, Dravid finally got a taste of glory as a head coach.

Most consecutive innings without a duck: Rahul Dravid has a record for playing most innings without a duck across all formats of the game. The right-handed batter didn’t get a duck in 173 consecutive innings during his career.
