Australia’s World Cup winning captain Pat Cummins is all set to lead IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2024 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The franchise made an official announcement regarding the same on Monday, March 4.
The Australian pacer, who was acquired for INR 20.5 Crore in the 2024 IPL mini auction, held in December 2023 in Dubai is expected to lead the side, being one of the top buys at the auction table. He will replace Aiden Markram at the helm, who led the side in last two IPL seasons, but without any significant success. Check the top betting trends on the best betting sites in India and apps.
However, this change was expected since the time Cummins was signed by the franchise, seeing the success he has had at international level.
