Former soccer player Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, was named the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookie 2024 on Thursday, February 8. Brittany will feature in SI Swimsuit’s 60th anniversary edition, which is scheduled to be released in May 2024. The announcement came a few days before the Super Bowl LVIII, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 11 in Las Vegas. The game night will have the Kansas City Chiefs locking horns with the San Francisco 49ers.
Patrick Mahomes is the owner of the Kansas City Current NWSL team as well as the founder of the CPKC Stadium. The stadium in Kansas City will open later this year and will be the first soccer stadium built for women’s professional teams. Mahomes called it quits in 2017, and since then, he has been working as a certified fitness trainer.

The magazine announced the 28-year-old former women’s soccer forward as the Swimsuit Rookie 2024. In a special Instagram post, the magazine announced, “Brittany Mahomes will officially be gracing the pages of SI Swimsuit’s 60th anniversary issue as a 2024 ROOKIE! The entrepreneur and mom of two will be featured alongside our roster of women who empower, inspire, and use their platforms to be both seen and heard.”
