Pittsburgh Pirates' No. 1 draft pick, Paul Skenes, confirmed rumours about dating star American gymnast and internet sensation Olivia Dunne. The Louisiana State University alumn has garnered massive stardom on social media as she was also named the highest-valued women's college athlete in 2022. Hence, rumours about her dating life have been a topic of discussion on the internet.

These rumours hit a new level after Dunne attended one of Paul Skenes’ games for the Bradenton Marauders. Skenes also attended LSU and helped the baseball team win the 2023 Men’s College World Series. He also won the 2023 National Player of the Year award and was named the 2023 National Pitcher of the Year award and the 2023 College World Series Most Outstanding Player.
While speaking in a recent interview, Paul Skenes confirmed that he is dating Olivia Dunne and further opened up about the cons of being a famous couple. He confessed, "It can be a pain in the butt sometimes, to be honest, in terms of actually going somewhere. If one of us went out in Baton Rouge [La.] by ourselves, there's probably gonna be someone there asking for something — picture, autograph, whatever."
Skenes also addressed the problems the pair faces because of the constant media coverage of their lives and the comments and messages on social media. He also claimed these responses are worse for Dunne and has advised her to avoid looking at them."I wasn't on it during the season because it's toxic. When you see something positive about you or something negative, it doesn't matter," he said.

"It's worse for her. I've told her, 'People are gonna write about you. People are gonna write about me. If it rattles you, if it makes you upset, you gotta find a way to either not see it or not get upset over it.' In my mind, it's a lot easier to not see it than not get upset over it."
