Chris Green scalps four wickets, slams 48 runs
Antigua and Barbuda Falcons skipper Chris Green started weaving his magic in the sixth over the SLK’s innings. He picked up two consecutive wickets when he dismissed Plessis and Roston Chase on the fourth and fifth delivery. Later, he took the wicket of Ackeem Wayne Jarrell Auguste and Tim Seifert.
In return, the Falcons failed to do their magic in the beginning as Justin Greaves and Kofi James were forced to return after only 10 runs and 11 runs, respectively. Sam Billings and Jahmar Hamilton also failed to make a difference with their 5 and 0 runs, respectively. Things were going downhill for the Falcons when Shamar Springer gave his side some hope with 32-ball 23 runs, and the momentum following it was extended by a 48-run knock from Chris Green in 37 balls.
However, things couldn’t turn the tide of the match as the Falcons failed to chase down the score and fell short by 26 runs.
