Indian All-rounder Deepak Chahar recently got married to Jaya Bhardwaj at a private ceremony in Agra. Fellow cricketers, friends and fans alike showered the couple with beautiful and heart-warming comments. But one of the funniest congratulatory messages came from Deepak Chahar’s sister, Malti Chahar who remind his wife to take good care of her brother as he is nursing an injury. She posted a charming picture with the couple.

The post’s caption said, “Ab ladki hui humari….Wish you guys a very happy married life?@deepak_chahar9 please take care of your back during your honeymoon..we have World Cup ahead ?#family #brother #marriage #siblings.”

Deepak Chahar first suffered a quadricep tear while playing against the West Indies in early 2022. The 29-year-old was recovering at NCA when he sustained a back injury and missed out on IPL 2022.

Addressing Chahar’s injury, the BCCI had sent a fierce warning to the NCA physios as Chahar’s injury was not an isolated incident. According to a senior BCCI official said,  “It’s absurd to understand how a player can have a secondary injury while recovering from another injury.

"The message is very clear to NCA. They have to sort out this mess as we have had a string of injuries and we can’t risk many with important events coming up.” We will have a meeting with Nitin and VVS to find out why exactly we have so many injuries and we will decide the next course of action. But to tell you honestly, no one is happy with the situation,” the report continued.
